Okay, we’ve probably gone through at least 100 different craft sticks this year with these fun popsicle stick projects. This craft is one of my favorite craft projects on the blog.
I have been stuck in a major winter rut. I really need some sunny weather and outdoor fun. That’s what inspired me to create this rainbow with a pot of gold popsicle stick craft.
It might still be cold and wet here in Oregon but we can dream of sunny days and outdoor adventures while we put together this cute St. Patrick’s Day project.

Supply List:
- Colored Craft Sticks
- 2 small Craft Sticks
- Gold Sparkly Pipe Cleaner
- 2 Cotton Balls
- Black Foam or Construction Paper
- Hot Glue
- Scissors

Instructions:
Line up colored craft sticks in the following order: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.
If you don’t have rainbow craft sticks, you can paint regular craft sticks.

Run a line of hot glue across the sticks near the top and press on one of the small sticks as shown.
Repeat the process along the bottom of the popsicle sticks.

Position the rainbow vertically with the red on the left
Glue the cotton balls on the top portion of the rainbow

Use the foam or construction paper to cut out a pot shape and glue it to the bottom portion of the rainbow

Twist the pipe cleaner to form a spring shape and glue it at the top of the pot
